Is the Bermuda Triangle real? by Mirren B

Introduction:

Scientists have a rough idea what the Bermuda triangle is but we don’t know a lot about it. For example we don’t know where people go after going in it and we don’t know what causes the Bermuda Triangle or the magnetic interruption that causes planes to lose control. So I am going to explain how the Bermuda Triangle myth originates from and can be understood today. Some scientists have an idea that the Bermuda Triangle is just some meteors that crashed into the sea and that could be what causes the magnetic interruption.

Argument For:

According to the howstuffworks.com there have been a lot of things happening around the Bermuda Triangle and strange vanishings.  Lots of people have disappeared or lost there lives to The Bermuda Triangle. A man  called Christoper Columbus sails through the area of the Bermuda Triangle on his first voyage to the New World a couple of weeks after he crashes he sees a bright light at where the Bermuda Triangle is which is mysterious. And sometimes the ships, boats and planes have disappeared in perfectly good weather.

Arguments Against:

The ships could  just have sunk coincidentally and the thing that Christopher Columbus might have just seen another boat and the boat might have been carrying some kind of metal that interferes with magnetic force.

Conclusion :

So we have come to a conclusion and that is that The Bermuda Triangle is definitely real because what are the chances that loads of ships, boats and planes go missing all around the same area in perfectly good weather. So the only conclusion is that the Bermuda Triangle is real.

1947 Roswell UFO incident, True or Not ?

INTRODUCTION

On 7th July 1947, in the deserts outside Roswell New Mexico occurred an incident. Many people have heard of the Roswell UFO crash but very few know the details of the incident.

ARGUMENTS FOR: From my research i have found out, according to ufoevidence.org on 7 July 1947 there has been discovered as, “a wreckage of a flying saucer from a ranch in the area.” It was discovered that the wreckage has flown from New Mexico onto higher headquarters. On July 9 that year it was revealed that the wreckage was found on the J.B. Foster Ranch. In the following days every witness to the crash was either transferred or seemed to have disappeared.

ARGUMENTS AGAINST:

Every sight that i have researched has said that it does exist but however there isn’t 100% proof that it did happen.  A lot of the sights were blocked at school so i couldn’t look on a few of them.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion after reading a lot of websites i think Roswell 1947 exists because i believe that there was an incident in New Mexico of a flying UFO which wrecked the city.

Something in the lake…

http://

The Loch Ness monster is one of the most well known legends in the world. First sightings were mentioned from around 1500 years ago, but since the first sighting to be formally recorded in 1933, the world has been crazy about the monster in the Scottish loch. Countless sightings have been claimed but are all of them legitimate?

FOR:
Loch Ness is huge. It measure 800 feet deep and 23 miles long – definitely big enough for such a creature to live in.

Of course there are many people who claim to have seen the monster.

People have produced photographs; purporting large dark shapes to be the monster.

Over the years, various groups of people have scanned Loch Ness  and found things that may have been a monster.

AGAINST

Results of the various scans could easily have been large boulders transported from the rives connected to  Loch Ness or a swarm of fish being chased by a predator.

People make claims for fame and attention.

The BBC used well known scientific experts and systems to to their own scan and found nothing.

The BBC also did a live experiment and created a hypothesis that ‘People see what they want to see’. They raised a pole from the water as people went by and then asked people to draw what they saw. Many drew a monster shaped head!

The problem with puzzles like this is how to tell the whether anyone has really seen a monster at all!

CONCLUSION

My conclusion is that the Loch Ness monster is not real. This is because the evidence against it existing comes from more credible and reliable sources.

Is it a good idea for searching the Loch Ness Monster? By Sorato F

Introduction

Is the Loch Ness monster real? some people say  there is such a thing called Loch Ness monster because of a picture showing some kind of creature with a long neck, but some people say that is a fake. There are many myths about the Loch Ness monster but, we still do not know if the Loch Ness monster really exists.

Argument for

According to the Live Science website, there were no reports about the Loch Ness monster less then a century ago. the first site was at 1933. Kenneth Wilson has took an image of the Loch Ness monster. It finished as a hoax but still they do not know if it is a hoax, and still people say that the image is the best evidence of the Loch Ness monster.                                                                                                                 Other websites such as The Official Loch Ness Monster Sighting Register website says that the last sighting of the Loch Ness monster was at 21 August 2016. Ian Campbell took a picture at the west side of the loch near Drumnadrochit. There were 2 creatures which are around  10 meters right out the shore.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The last website is the The Telegraph. It says that November 1, 1936 there was a video taken at Scotland by Mr Dinsdale.  Mr  Dinsdale was the one of the best Loch Ness hunters in the world. It was a 60 second film showing a creature with a long Neck swimming.

Arguments Against

According to the The Museum Of Hoaxes, the photo which was taken on 1933 was a complete fake. After taking a photo Kenneth Wilson was asked to find the loch Ness monster which he couldn’t. Also in 1994, the photo turned that it was fake. Christian Spurling said that the mythical creature was a toy submarine.                                                                                                                                                                                      According to The museum of unnatural mystery, the toy submarine had a toy dinosaur without any legs on a submarine.                                                                                                                                                                                         According to  the museum of hoaxes, at 1972, a team of 8 from Yorkshire’s Flamingo Zoo found a large hump. The object was floating on water.People thought it could be  the son of Nessie.     Few days later Police came to the  Yorkshire’s Flamingo Zoo and researched the creature. Still they did not know what it could be and the research ended as unidentified creature.                                                                 Also the Edinburgh Zoo  came and said that the creature was about 3~4 years old. The next day after the  Edinburgh Zoo came, John shields said that the creature was a Elephant Seal.

Conclusion

I think the Loch Ness monster does exist. Maybe there will be less chance to really find the creature. I think if we exist it is not strange that mythical creatures such as Big foot, ghosts, Loch Ness monster will exist. Even Aliens could exist. So my conclusion is that I think Loch Ness monster does exist.

The Loch Ness by Redd A.L.

Introduction

In this particular broad cast I will be talking about the Loch Ness Monster weather it is real or just made up. The first sightings of this unusual creature was in 565AD. It was said that Saint Colombia was on a visit to the lake, then he saw another man being attacked by this beast he then put the  christian cross and saying the name of god in front of the creature and commanding it to “go back with all speed” and at this moment the creature stopped attacking the  man and never came to kill another man again.

Arguments For

According to the livescience website they said that Nessie was last seen in 1933, after it was published in a”The Inverse Courier,” a local newspaper, which was describing not a monsterous head of lump, which they described as ” two duck fighting”. A London surgeon named Kenneth Wilson took a picture which showed something with a long head and neck this is said to be the best evidence of the Loch Ness monster since. According to the “this day in history : may 02” website it says that in 1933 may 2nd another couple said to have seen the beats on land, crossing the shore road.

Arguments against

According to the BBC they have used 600 separate sonar beams and also satellite navigation technology to make sure that none of the loch was missed out. The team checked the lakes but they had found no sign or trace of  the Loch Ness monster. They think the previous sightings of the beast might be a plesiosaur which is a reptile which died out with the dinosaurs.

Conclusion

With all this research  i still don’t  believe in the Loch ness because there are still not enough evidence to prove that Nessie doesn’t exist. The websites that says the Loch Ness is real they might have actually been made up.So what do you think? Is the Loch Ness monster real,or was it all just a made up legend that started in 565AD ?

Do you believe in God? By Kat

Introduction-

Does God exist? This is probably the most debated question ever and there are people on both sides of the argument who strongly believes that they are right. Those who believe in God`s existence through the evidence presented in the bible and those who do not are not particularly right  because of lack of material or scientific evidence.

Arguments For- According to the Spiritualist Philosophy website, the argument for believing in God is to explain how otherwise the creation of man could have taken place. They suggest that science alone cannot prove the creation of earth, mankind and humanity and that there must be a greater power at work.  The site also argues that events are not random and down to chance and luck, but happen due to the will of God.  So, in the world of the Spiritualist website , God must indeed exist since he is responsible for the world in which we exist today and the essence of the human spirit.

Also  joining the case for the existence of God  is the Johovah’s Witness websiteThis website claims that those who believe in the existence of God experience a ‘personal calling’ and that his message to him is a very direct one. It is then their duty to’spread the message’ of God to others and to try and persuade people to be nicer to each other.  They also claim, as with the Spiritualist movement, that the teachings of the bible are sufficient evidence in the existence of God

Arguments Against – Those who argue against the existence of God are called atheists . One organisation, called www.existence-of-god.com/arguments-for-atheism.html, argue that God cannot exist, simply because there is no scientific evidence. The scientific case is that the ‘big bang’ created the earth and then man evolved out of the seas as creatures. Over the years, man evolved and for atheists, this is sufficient evidence against the existence of God.

And Sitting on the Fence – Those who have not made up their minds yet are called agnostics. There are a variety of websites for agnostics, including meetup.com who regularly meet up to consider whether there is sufficient evidence to prove that God exists. They are not saying  that God does not exist, as do the atheists, but are keeping an open mind – just in case.

Finally – Overall,  I do not believe in God strongly, but I haven’t made my mind up yet so I am called an Agnostic. I do not totally believe in God because there is not enough proof or evidence except from the Bible. I have researched and heard that a few people have seen or heard  God communicating to them.  Unfortunately no one will know if they are right or wrong it is just a belief.

Did Robin Hood really exist?

Introduction

Legend has it that Robin Hood was a outlaw living in Sherwood Forest with his ‘Merry Men’. He was also have said to rob the poor and give to the rich. There are several versions of the Robin Hood story.

Arguments For

According to historic-uk.com, Ben Johnson said that the first known literary reference to Robin Hood and his men was in 1377.  The British Museum also have an account of Robin’s life which states that he was born around 1160 in Lockersley (most likely modern day Loxley) in South Yorkshire. Another chronicler has said that he was a Wakerfield man and took part in Thomas of Lancaster’s rebellion in 1322. One well known story about Robin that places him in Whitby Yorkshire, is about him and Little John having a friendly archery contest. Both men were skilled at archery and from the roof of the Monastery they both shot an arrow. The arrows fell at Whitby Lathes, more than a mile away. Afterwards the fields where the arrows landed were known as Robin Hood’s Close and Little John’s Close. Robin became a well known hero because of giving to the poor and downtrodden peasants.

Arguments Against

According to BBC NEWS CHANNEL, Professor Stephen Knight has been researching for 20 years of his life about Robin Hood in order to find this information. He has gathered a whole library of books, videos and lectures on two university courses on the noble outlaw. He says the “Hood “myth” is reinvented when people feel they are being oppressed by their own version of the Sheriff of Nottingham.” And thinks that Robin Hood is not real.

Conclusion

i think that Robin Hood does not exist, because the site BBC NEWS CHANNEL is the most reliable as i have trusted BBC NEWS before, and have never used the site Historic-uk.com. But on the other hand BBC NEWS says the man, Stephen Knights has based his research on videos and some of the time some videos are not reliable ,but he has also based his information on books and lectures .So he has used different sources to complete his task which i personally think is correct.

Is Nessie A Mythical Creature Or A Normal Animal?

intro

Do you know the Loch Ness Moster ? If you do, have you been wondering  is it real or just a plain old made up story? This post is based on sites that I researched. An animal or creature named the Loch Ness Monster also known as Nessie, was allegedly first seen by St Columbia around 565AD, however we are still unsure about the truth so lets take a look at the evidence:

For

According to The Official Sightings a 28 year old, Calley Tulleth , had claimed to see a ‘blue thing’ in the surface of the river. With out thinking she grabbed her phone took many photos. There is a other case in 1954 , a fishing boat named Rival III had tracked down a moving object uderneth of the deep sea, a depth of 480 feet in to the sea. for a other eyewitness Hoaxes.org said thet an italian newspaper reported a Nessie got killed by a Greman bomb back in 1941. Also back in 1972 the day before April’s Fools day a Lonch Ness Moster flowing around the shore, within hours the news has reported on to the television.

Against

BBC NEWS says that they ‘proves’ that the Loch Nessie Moster does not exist by the team of the reseachers looked at habits of the animal that relate to the Loch Nessie Mosters such as cocodiles and komdo dragon and tried to work out the how Loch Nessie Moster behaved [which is a bit odd] and they also said that the previous report sightings might be a plesiosaur , which is a marine reptiles for sub-tropical waters.

conclusion

Over all i think that the Loch Ness moster is real because as i was finding evidence it was a bit harder to find arguments against and there was a lot more eyewitness and could many people got mistaken past these years ? I would not believe that many people has mistaken.

The Bermuda Triangle

Introduction

The Bermuda Triangle, said to be the Devil’s Triangle, is located between Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. Many ships have been said to disappear inside the area of sea inside of the triangle, and also when some planes fly over the triangle, pilots have reported becoming disorientated and dizzy and fall the plane falls into the sea.

Against

According to UnMuseum.com, there is some sort of magnetic anomaly that messes with the the compass and puts pilots in the area off course.According the volvooceanrace.com they say that it is not a registered territory but it does stretch between Florida,Puerto Rico and Bermuda.

Another fact that they state is that, those areas are subject to are unexpected weather and  freak storms that that can dissipate quickly causing navigational problems also it is said that the Bermuda Triangle is one of the two places on earth that the compass points to true north instead of magnetic north taking them far off course.

For

According to HelloTravel.com they say the disappearances of ships are due to UFO or Alien activity also it is claimed that when ever planes or aircraft’s disappear the reason for no debris is due to the Gulf Stream that washes away debris. Due to these disappearances in the last century 1000 lives have been lost.

Conclusion

Overall I do not believe that the Bermuda Triangle is real.As a result I think it is a myth to scare people into not wanting to go to Bermuda.
